Okay so SU doesn't sell these nifty little disney stamps so I had to buy this contraban at Michaels (please forgive me SU!) Anyway, These are cute little CD tins that I've altered into tic-tac-toe sets for gifts. I covered the tin and jazzed it up. I then stamped the princess images onto white CS and punched them out then useing Crystal Effects secured them to the clear glass stones. After they were dried I added a little strip of magnet so they stay in place. I didn't show the game board but they are cut to size and laminated. (forgot to say all images were colored using SU watercolor pencils and blender pens.) Love 'em don't u??

Frugal Creator!
I am well known for being tight with my budget so I try to cut corners whenever possible. That's why I love looking for bargain--well you can't get much cheaper than free!! I love to nab some paint samples everytime I run into a home improvement store or whereever paint is sold. This particular time I chose to use the paint samples to make some card candy! I used my scallop punch (sold by Stampin' Up!) and 2 differnt sized circle punches to create these fun images. (honestly, I probably won't use them on cards but on scrapbook pages) I love the paint samples b/c all the color coordinating is done for you!! So the next time you see some grab 'em and experiment!! Enjoy!
After gluing them together I did add some bling to each. I used my SU two-way glue pen to add dots and then added irridecent ice to each. Unfortunately they do not show up to well--but i'm sure you get the idea!! TFL!

My Stamping Space
Thought I'd show some pics of my 1/2 finished room. Eventually it will all be painted and tiles laid right now we make do with what my husband has completed (it's a 'winter project' so I just have to wait 'til the snows a blowin')
Here's a shelf that houses all my stamps (when everything is actually put away the cubbies are completely full) The small blue boxes are a garage sale find--completely full of rick-rack, lace, seam tape and random ribbon--I was SOOOO excited I scored such a sweet find!
This is my shelf of goodies waiting to be used or altered. There's everything there from jars, glass stones, paint cans, ornaments--u name it it's probably there!
This is the paper corner at least for right now. The drawers hold categorized full sheets of CS, vellum, and DSP the other shelves just hold random info. The top shelves are full of just scraps and unopened packs of CS (card stock)
This last photo is the embossing/embellishment station! (my clubbers make fun of me for that title) But this seriously works for me all the embossing powders and flocking are right there in the top tier then the heat gun and trays are on the second tier. THe basket holds my punches (hoping to hang a shelf my dad made for my punches soon). The second shelf hold all sorts of embellishments like buttons, brads, chipboard, foam pieces--just random odds and ends. I'm such a packrat!!
I'll try to get more pics of my room soon--needs to be cleaned otherwise I'll be too embarrassed to show it!!

Stamp Club
This was the first project of the night. The 2-5-7-10 boxes. These are sooo simple and yet so cute. Everyone kinda did their own theme. Diane even used the one piece cut off to make a gift tag to hang on the bag--I hadn't even thought of that!! That's what I love most about our club-I give directions and everyone adds their own unique twist and we each learn from each other! For instance the purple one created by Dawn she detoured from the directions and curved the flap for the bag--turned out adorable, Jay decided not to close hers with a ribbon and made a button enclosure instead! There were some boxes not posted (some weren't finished yet) Mom chose to do a Halloween themed and Norma went with a patriotic them.
For the tutorial for the 2-5-7-10 boxes go to where else??. . . . http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ click on resources in the top right corner!

Here's a pic of the spread mom brought. She even coordinated the plates with the flip flop project! (I tried to get a before eating pic--but we were all STARVING!!) Here's mom's flip flop album. She made it to where the bottom shoe is glued into this holder -she was going for a sort of platform looking dealio? We all agreed she needed to add more sponged on brown to give it more of a cork texture. I was really impressed with her version!!
Here's a shot of Norma's first couple of pages. She did AWESOME for her first night at stamp club--she is a very quick learner!
Here's a shot of how messy we can get!! This is Jay's page. She's scrappin' pics for her wedding in Mexico.

Jared
The twins are 5 today. Here is Jared's card. Couldn't do much better--I don't have very many 'boy' stamps! I need to add those to my list!! He would love the truck stamps SU has. Anyhoo--here's what I accomplished. I used the SU crab and Company set. I cut out the images and glued them to CS. I added the google eyes--figured he'd get a kick out of it!! Enjoy!

Princess Jordyn
My neice and nephew turn 5 today so last night at about 11:30pm I decided oh-yeah I need to whip out some bday cards! So here is Princess Jordyn's card. I kept it pretty simple. I used the Perfect Princess SU stamp set. I added the hot pink and light pink rhinestones to the crown. the J is just chipboard covered in irridecent ice. Very simple. Hard to be creative that late at night!! :)

Growing in Faith
I know I am a corny mom!! my DD had vacation bible school this week so as a thank u to all the teachers I made little sucker flowers. I should have taken a side pic so you could see the dum dum sucker in the pot. Very basic and simple to do. Totally cased this from another blog. I'll post the link (as soon as I find it again!) The card is a view finder card--turn the wheel and there are three different flowers and three different versions of thank you. The black bag is in the background. I punched three scallop flowers and wrote 'grow in faith' the same (reverse colors) are on the other side of the bag. The teachers really enjoyed them (the flowers not the dum dums!)

Thank u card
Here is the thank u card that went along with the flip flop album. The net is the plastic webbing found at lss (local scrapbook store) the Stamp sets are SU. The sun is kissed with yellow and orange it also has irridecent glitter in the center. The 'volleyball poles' are just black ribbon folded over and adhered with glue dots. I thought it was a fitting thank you card!!
